Montclare Faculty and Staff
Montclare Children’s School maintains a strong teacher-to-child ratio providing nurturing and experienced early childhood educators in each classroom. Our Education Director oversees our teaching staff and curriculum. To enhance our teaching practices and continue to evolve as educators, we offer our staff monthly professional development opportunities, including workshops with a variety of renowned early childhood education experts, CPR, First Aid, and MAT training. Through our teacher-guided approach paired with open-ended Process Art and play, our educators actively engage children in language, math, science, art, and pre-literacy experiences, establishing the foundation for a lifelong love of learning.
Our specialist teachers provide a variety of enrichments including music, movement, art, and yoga. Our specialists work closely with teachers to create deeper connections to the learning that is happening in individual classrooms. Whether our children are climbing the rock-wall in the gym, embodying their favorite animal in yoga, expressing themselves in art or singing their best-loved songs in music, you will always find them joyfully collaborating with their peers and teachers.
Montclare’s Administrative Leadership Team comprised of veteran school administrators and educators is dedicated to supporting our students and families through their preschool experience and beyond. The primary focus of our Exmissions Director is to become familiar with all of our students, guiding and supporting our families through both the public and private ongoing school Exmissions process.
